Liompa (Short Film)
Based on Yuri Olesha’s 1928 short story, Liompa explores our relationship with the objects we own and the world we try to control, seen through three people at different stages of life: a dying man, a teenage boy and a young child. Directed by Elizabeth Lazebnik and starring acclaimed Russian actor Alexey Serebryakov, this poetic short film was an audience favorite at the Toronto International Film Festival.
